A specific area of specialization includes defensible analytical capabilities in support of toxic organic vapor intrusion studies utilizing active and passive sorbent methodologies such as US EPA Method TO-17. In addition to providing coverage for typical TO-15 analytes, these services will greatly improve recoveries for less volatile analytes (i.e. naphthalene) and extend the target range up through the diesel and home heating oil ranges. Due to condensation and resulting recovery problems, these latter analytes are simply inaccessible to canister-based methods.
